  1. This is a great post! Now if only I’d known all this before GUTGAA and Pitch Madness… 😀 Oh, well. It will help me now, at any rate!

  3. Thank you SO much for this! I’m a people person by nature, so sending my manuscript to agents without being able to shake their hand and smile has been hard for me. But the thought of giving a pitch was a bit daunting–this has helped immensely! I think I can smile (and mean it!) while I pitch at the same time now when I finally go to a writing conference! Cheers!
